Dear K4 and K5 Parents,
We are excited for you guys to let our new students practice walking to their classrooms on Monday, July 31, between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm! This is a bit different! We found last year that allowing time for our K4 and K5 parents and children to walk the building the day before school started made the first day of school go more smoothly for parents, students, and teachers. Why do we do have all students walk themselves into the building on the first day? Safety. West End's parking lot and car line areas are not designed for extra parking and folks walking across the car line. We appreciate your willingness to do something different so that we can keep everyone safe!
