The School District of Pickens County will hold a Federal Programs Public Input Meeting to gather community feedback on the district’s federally funded programs for the upcoming school year.
The meeting will provide an overview of programs supported through federal funding, including:
Title I (provide all students opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps)
Title II (professional learning and educator quality)
Title III (services for multilingual learners)
Title IV (enhancing student learning and well-being)
The Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act, and
21st Century Community Learning Centers.
Parents and community members are also invited to share input regarding the effectiveness of parent and family engagement efforts at Title I schools and offer suggestions for future use of federal funds.
